Applying your Hair Extensions

Our clients are advised to fix the hair extensions from a trained and experienced extension specialist. Properly fixing the hair is very important else there may be problem of shedding, matting and tangling. Even 100% remi hair will not be of much use if adequate care is not taken while fixing the hair extension. As human hair is a natural product and each hair is different in texture, different techniques are adopted to fix the hair based on their nature. Only qualified hair specialist can identify that.

Maintaining your Hair Extensions

In general, all hair tangles while swimming, sleeping and shampooing. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to have a better effect of your extension.
The extensions once fixed usually last for 2 months during which time there is growth of natural hair in cornrows. It is advised that the client removes the extension every 2 months and fix it again. Else the hair inside grows and push the cornrows.
While washing the hair adequate care must be taken. Wash the hair with warm water every week or twice a week. While washing, do not rub the hair in reverse direction. Wash it following the strands of the hair. Wash with shampoo and then condition it. Always condition the hair after shampooing. Conditioning closes the cuticles. Finally blow dry and style the hair.
While sleeping, make a plat or roll the hair into a ball or cover it with loose net, else the hair tangles when you comb.
While combing, follow the strand from the bottom. Comb hair section by section starting from tail going to root.
While swimming, make a plat or use swimming cap to avoid damage to the hair.
Never use oil to your hair.
Visit your hair stylist frequently.
